Hanging tuck ups are a beginner exercise used to develop a basic level of core strength. Bringing the knees up toward the chest is a fundamental movement needed to learn other swinging movements, flips, and jumps. Hanging tuck ups are also great for improving grip strength and shoulder mobility. Once tuck ups have been mastered, move on to the next hardest exercises, knees to elbows.
